There could be one employee who has a naturally exuberant personality who has a tendency to talk a bit too long with customers.  Ordinarily, this employee would be reprimanded and maybe even issued a warning of termination if the handle time does not come down.

However, in a diverse workplace, this employee would be applauded because they have such a natural way of creating rapport with customers that neither one wants to hang up.  Allowing this kind of diversity is a great way to increase employee morale.

Planning for the Worst

When I first went into business, I was confident that there was a market for my services and that I had the smarts and drive to make a go of my business.
